SPINEY
Although not originally from the Colne Valley (Born in Netherton) Spiney (Named after Monty Python's Spiney Norman for some unknown reason) has had his part to play in the story of Colne Valley Chaos... especially the Chaos bit. Spiney was guitarist for 'Beat of the Federation', a Huddersfield band who sounded like Killing Joke crossed with The Butthole Surfers (Mostly due to Spiney's love of Delay...lay..lay). They used to gig down at the Wharf, sometimes on the same bill as CVC bands such as Menkle Skelentons. He was also part of the three man crew that started the infamous NABS (Norman, Aldous, Baggins) recording studio in Milnsbridge. Some key CVC recordings were made there including all the MP3s on the Laffmad page. Chaotic Collaborations were also made with Jussy & Foggy. Currently living in Milnsbridge, Spiney is still creating Muzak and Visual media designed to blow your socks off! |

| Releases: No Official Releases - but literally 100s (maybe 1000s) of cassettes, CDs and other Random Recordings have been made over the years. A great bulk of these have been lost in the mists of time. However, Foggy happened to be in possession of around 20 or so audio cassettes that have been saved from extinction and some cuts from these are included below in the MP3 section. All titles of tracks are made up by Foggy. |
