THE ORIGINALS Kips first had the idea to compile tapes of music from the various Colne Valley stalwarts sometime in the mid 90s. The tapes were to be called 'The Colne Valley Doss Bands' and be released in volumes with different people compiling each edition. Jon Williams of GWF and Jon Thomas fame compiled the first volume and it then fell to Foggy to design the cover who cheekily changed the name to Colne Valley Chaos and so that was how the CVC name was created! |
